I saw another journal recently and decided to take a page out of her book and make this a consistent welcoming post and introduction. This is a writing journal for my internet/penname of PsychicDreams. Mostly it involves shounen ai/yaoi/slash for series and almost entirely fanfiction. I'm extremely leery about putting up any original works on the internet as there have been notable cases that people steal it for their own and/or actually publish it as theirs. *bows very low* I'm so sorry for the inordinate amount of time it took to get this up. I wrote it shortly after the first chapter, but I didn't like it and didn't like it when I read it. Then Christmas hit and on top of Christmas, my sister decided to monopolize our life and move her into her new apartment (even before the 25th!) And then the new year hit and I had extra work to do at work (though I don't begrudge the money) and I was doing 11 hours day and then we're in the process of selling our house and moving into another and and... *sigh* So yeah...

I was so exhausted every night, including weekends, that I couldn't write at all. In truth, this chapter only took me very few days to write, it was just this temp job. It had to be done in one month, of a job that usually takes three, so...

I hope this chapter makes up for the gap between 9 and 10, and the somewhat shortness of the last one. This one didn't turn out the way I expected it to, but I'm happy with it. The beginning was great, but after a certain page I didn't know what to do and inspiration struck when I thought of putting in THE INCIDENT pt2 :P I felt it was necessary to show rather than tell what was going on. Given the story, I'm thinking of marking this as the end of part 1 of the story and the next chapter might start maybe several months or even a year down the road. It's starting to bog down again and I don't want to lose momentum.

And on a more personal note: IT'S HOOOOOOOOOOOT MAKE THE SUN GO AWAY! :P

06 - Right Where We Belong

Summary: After even just a short time apart, Tuari and his huge lover, Malachai, miss each other terribly and cannot wait to get back in each other's arms. First, however, Malachai needs to help Atrios recover from the massive rage that caused the firball which wiped out the small settlement of Border Watch. In his weakened state, the Flame Atronach is safely guarded by the massive Xivilai.

Yes, I do realize this might be considered a 'boring' chapter by some, but I honestly struggled something awful with it for the past two months, ever since I posted chapter 9. It's a turn-over point where nothing really happens and as such, writing slowed to a crawl. And of course it didn't help that I'm immersed into writing Oblivion stories, as those who visit this journal know. I'm hoping chapter 11 will be better...once I can figure out what happens. I've got the whole ending of the bloody story planned out, or mostly. I know what happens there. It's just this middle area that's unsure. Sorry it took so long to post, and I'll try to work on it more frequently, but in the midst of 3D modeling and other stuff, I forget a lot. :P

Despite being generally exhausted from all the 3D modeling I'm doing and all the writing for Oblivion, I'm still alive. I am, also, working on Chapter 10 of Redemption, but it's slow going when I have the time. I got an awful lot done today so in a day or two, I'll go back and read it over, see where I need to add, then continue on. In the meantime, here's another story:

Wanted

This takes place sometime after a story written with arty and AlienSlof, Breaking and Entering, that arty and I wrote together after that. Read it if you wish to, it is a very good story, though there are no specific references to it in Wanted except a very minor one.

Summary: Vesper, the white clouded leopard, was having a nice run and things were going so well until a chance encounter lands him with a spitting, hissing problem. He meets another Khajiit and at first sparks fly, but soon they realize that they're in the same heap of trouble and the only way out might be to help each other...
